The treatment length (at an interval of 1-4 weeks between injections) is up to 12 weeks; repeated treatment should be started 8 weeks after the last administration. The treatment is accompanied by a diet rich in protein. NPP has a shorter ester than Deca, requiring more frequent injections (every 2-3 days).
Medical Action
Nandrolone is an anabolic steroid. It works by increasing the growth of certain tissues in the body and has been shown to improve the oxygen-carrying ability of blood by increasing hemoglobin and the size of red blood cells. The positive effects of Nandrolone include muscle growth, appetite stimulation, increased red blood cell production, and improved bone density. Clinical studies have shown it to be effective in treating anemia, osteoporosis, and some forms of neoplasia including breast cancer, and it also acts as a progestin-based contraceptive. Because nandrolone is not broken down into DHT, the deleterious effects common to most anabolic steroids on the scalp, skin, and prostate are lessened to a degree.
