Administration

The normally indicated dose is 200–600 mg per week. The maximum dose is considered to be 600 mg per week. The injections with this medicine are painful; therefore, it can be injected every 2 days.

Medical Action

Boldenone is a derivative of testosterone but less androgenic than testosterone itself. This medicine helps to increase the number of red blood cells in the body. The mechanism for this effect may occur by stimulating erythropoietin stimulating factor. Endogenous testosterone release may be suppressed by inhibiting luteinizing hormone (LH). If administered in high doses, it can block spermatogenesis by negative feedback inhibition of FSH.
