Medical Action
Testosterone is the main hormone released by the testicles. It's responsible for the growth of male sex features and extra sexual parts (prostate gland, seminal vesicles, penis and scrotum), man hair distribution (face, pubis, chest) developing laryngeal muscles and body fat distribution. Contains nitrogen, sodium, potassium, and phosphorus, raises proteins anabolism minimizing catabolism. Rapid increase plasma levels of androgenic hormone with testosterone in prepubertal leads to slower growth and long bone closure.
